My Real Estate Journey
I started my real estate journey at age four, following my dad around and soaking in his gift for "seeing" and "knowing" people. I officially launched my career in 1981 and haven't stopped my forever curiosity and unstoppable vision since! Real estate is my candy, the top of my food pyramid, and each deal is a unique puzzle that keeps me energized. I love the psychology, vocabulary, and emotion of every transaction. My fun begins where others get tripped up, as I untangle, simplify, and find solutions in your terms, your way. Iā€™m a chameleon of personalities, a creative forward thinker with piercing vision, and an effervescent spirit!
My Adventure-Filled Debbie Day
A Debbie day actually makes me smile...
Seriously, my days in my head are like going off to adventure land. I have the attention span of a child and switch topics, actions, and conversations in the blink of an eye! But the more I have on my "Hope to Do" list, the better off I am. I start my day at 4:30am reading, writing, and doing my photos for social media.
Then, I get the real day started. I run down to the coffee store, which my kids own! I love hanging there and talking to everyone as they come in for coffee and breakfast, catching up on the news and town gossip.
My dad always said, "Be with the people! And dress for the day! You never know!" I prefer talking on the phone versus email or text whenever possibleā€”I love engaging in person. If the phone rings, I pick it up!
I thrive on being accessible always and don't worry about it being crazy... we'll worry about that later. Isnā€™t that a great problem? Boundaries will organically strengthen as you find your expertise within your niche, that I promise.
